Is it important still, to own a bachelor degree?

There has been a question raise in my heart
What makes a bachelor degree holder different from others?
I don't see any different except a degree holder had passed through a series of firm teaching lesson and get validated for the knowledge and technical skill you had possessed.

After read an articles from Fox news, here, I start to doubt that by having a bachelor degree isn't gonna help much in my life, the way I want it to be.
In the society I'm currently associated with, having a bachelor degree only provide job security. In this land where bachelor degree holders are "proudly produced" in a mass amount yearly, even double-degree holder is not a rare thing.
I begin to think that it's kind of like a standard, for people to have one in order to have a better life?
In fact, the country I've been living had been famous for exporting their degree holders/professionals to other countries due to an unfair policy/norm ongoing in this country.

Difference in salary, no doubt. A bachelor degree holder could have a higher basic compare to a college degree holder, even far higher compare to no-degree holder. But does the extra few hundred ringgit solved our problem of financial unbalance?
No.

As an electronic engineer degree holder which I believe I am never a good electronic engineer anyway, I still don't see the benefit of having a degree is gonna change my life to be a better one.
Social circles of mine consists of lawyers, policemen, doctors, accountants, and a lot of college dropout.
No surprise, I learnt a lot from them, no matter who they are.
They are my friends, each of them means something in a point of my life.
But all I saw was those higher education people had been
Always discriminating my friends of having lesser standard education
As they are sort of dumb or stupid in their life.
In fact, I'd admire those people who had been a dropout
As they have their unique experience on their life
Making them so much an unique entity
As either they get to be a really successful person
Or be really fuck-up in their life.

This might be very rude to people who struggle hard to get through the University in order to have a degree cert.
But honestly, I don't think they're understand what can they do with it.
Life isn't that simple.
It's not like you have a degree you would immediately have a job
it's never like if you have a degree your knowledge is wider than others
It's not that having a degree make you a better person.
It's not a ticket straight to successful.
It's a just a declaration to verify your limited skills on related field.

Maybe I've been harsh onto this topic
But when you're living a life fully controlled by system and structural
Somehow it needs a breakthrough
Dream is getting further and further
